BURROW LANE
Crafting a brand for the Home of Intentional Living
-
Burrow Lane is a curated destination for discerning shoppers seeking beautiful, meaningful objects.
Driven by a passion for excellently made objects rather than trends, I was approached by the founder to create a brand identity rooted in intentionality and sentimentality.
The name ‘Burrow Lane’ evokes a sense of place — somewhere to wander, discover, and return to — reflecting the brand’s focus on thoughtfully curated objects of lasting value.
-
Burrow Lane’s identity is built around the idea of ‘elevated everyday living’. Acting as a considered filter in an overwhelming online marketplace, Burrow Lane curates objects that transform daily rituals into moments of appreciation.
The visual identity reflects this sensibility. The logo expresses a passion for excellently made objects: the monogram is generous and tactile, referencing craftsmanship and care, while the wordmark is modern and intentional, communicating sophistication and a strong curatorial point of view.
A handwritten script typeface introduces warmth and sentimentality, reminiscent of a note left behind or a maker’s mark. This is balanced with a cleaner, timeless typeface that grounds the brand in functionality and longevity.
Graphic elements draw from the idea of keyholes and frames, revealing, focusing, and inviting the viewer into Burrow Lane’s curated world.
The brand feels intimate and purposeful, celebrating craft and thoughtful design.

We went from Pinterest boards, Notes app scribbles, and a mini business plan to a dynamic brand identity and assets.”
