Crafting a confident brand identity that empowers women on non-linear career paths

Working Women Agency (WWA) is a media brand on a mission to equip creatives with the strategies and tools they need to pursue non-linear career paths.
Recognising the need to refine and elevate their visual identity, WWA approached me to redesign their logo, colour palette, typography, and social media graphics.
WWA’s founder Jessie came prepared with mood boards and a clear vision for the direction she wanted to take. Together, we embarked on a collaborative redesign process that gave the project a genuine sense of shared ownership.

With a strong presence on social media and Substack, WWA’s new logo needed to be both distinctive and highly adaptable.
Focusing on the initials WWA, we evolved the existing logo into a flexible, characterful mark that works seamlessly across digital and print applications.
The final design reflects the brand’s vision, values, and positioning while drawing on Jessie’s aesthetic references to convey modernity and understated sophistication.
The logo uses Quiche Sans, whose contrasting light and heavy strokes ensure legibility at all scales while maintaining an elegant sense of lightness.
The colour palette is confident and bold, making striking use of Black and White with a vibrant accent of Carmine Red.
For typography, we combined the balanced serif Lora with the timeless grotesque Akzidenz-Grotesk to bring clarity and cohesion to the designs.
By embracing white space and prioritising simplicity, the social media graphics carry an elegant, sophisticated quality.
As a subtle nod to the agency’s ethos, a fine thread-like line weaves through the visuals, symbolising change and the ups and downs of non-linear careers.
